The hotel occupies part of an antique palace, which dates back to the 16th century and was originally an old monastery. During the restoration the hotel retained structural elements such as wooden beams and stone arches, thus maintaining the traditional Florentine style and simultaneously offering all modern comforts. This hotel was completely renovated in 2002 and comprises 3 floors with a total of 58 rooms. Guests may make use of the cosy bar.

Directions

By car: out of the Northern Highway in Florence (Airport), or coming from any other provincial or highway or freeway and follow the signs to the city center and train station of Santa Maria Novella. Then take on Viali Circonvallazione City and follow the signs to the Fortezza da Basso. From Fortezza da Basso take Viale Spartaco Lavagnini towards Liberty Square, and then to the first intersection with traffic lights turn right into St. Caterina D'Alessandria and continue straight through Independence Square. Beyond that square you will be directly in Via Nazionale you need to go again for about 500 metres. Exceed intersection with a traffic light, until you find on your first. National Garage right and then left on the Atlantic Palace Hotel.
