Description: This family-owned BandB is situated in the Oltrarno Quarter, on the left side of the River Arno, close to Ponte Vecchio and Palazzo Pitti. Located in a peaceful area with old artisan shops around the corner and still conveniently located near to all of Florence's main attraction.Casa Pucci is a homely and warm guest house located in an ancient palace, built in 1443 as a convent for nuns. Casa Pucci offers wonderful rooms for a pleasant stay in Florence.Casa Pucci has 5 rooms, each one decorated in an individual style and furnitured with florentine antiques. All rooms have a private bathroom with shower. In the warm season breakfast can be served in our nice cloistergarden.
Directions: By Car:The 'Autostrada Del Sole' Highway (A1) connects Florence both with southern and northern Italy. We suggest the exit 'Firenze Impruneta' for those coming from Rome; 'Firenze Nord' for those coming from Milan, Bologna, Venice. By Train:Florence Santa Maria Novella (S.M.N.) station is on the major Italian North-South train route. High speed trains running between Milan and Rome stop in Florence. Euro city and night trains connect Florence directly to several European cities (Paris, Geneva, Zurich, Wien, Munich, etc).The nearest train station is Santa Maria Novella (the central train station): just 5-10 minutes by walk, 5 minutes with taxi or bus (number 11-37 or 36 getting off at the first bus stop after crossing the bridge)By Plane:Florence (Amerigo Vespucci) airport is at Peretola, approximately 5 km west of Florence. - To reach the centremain station from the airport if you don't want to take a taxi, you can get the Vola bus Shuttel that is available from 5.40 a.m until 11 pm
