One of the main roads of the historic centre, it connects two important piazzas: the piazza of the Duomo and Piazza of Santissima Annunziata, overlooked by one of the main sanctuaries of the city, the basilica of the same name founded in 1270. The view from both sides is eye-catching, with the statue of Ferdinando I de' Medici at one end and the Cupola del Brunelleschi at the other.In addition to the central position, excellent for reaching on foot the main monuments and museums, the Arti and Hotel also offers rooms and services to meet the needs of guests who are looking for a relaxing and comfortable holiday. Of course, immediately upon their arrival, hotel guests will surely want to visit the Museum dell'Accademia (only 100 metres from the hotel) to admire Michelangelo's stunning statue of Davide, and just in front of Piazza San Marco, the museum which houses the paintings of the Beato Angelico.Our facility is completely housed inside a four story building, facing towards the Duomo and within easy reach of the S. Maria Novella train stations (8 minutes). The ground floor, in addition to the reception area furnished with furniture from the 1800s (Neapolitan cabinet-making), also contains the Arti and Caffè Cafe with its simple and elegant decor that blends in perfectly with the rest of the hotel.Each hotel room is furnished differently, decorated with taste and care, with comfortable quiet rooms equipped with TV, air conditioning, mini-bar, and unlimitedfree Wi-Fi internet connection for the entire stay. From this hotel in the historic centre, crossing Via dei Servi, and passing in front of the Duomo, in 5 minutes you can reach on foot the splendid Piazza della Signoria, where the prestigious Uffizi Museum is found. Continuing in the same direction, you arrive at Ponte Vecchio, an absolute must for those who want a truly unique memory of their visit to this beautiful Renaissance city.

Access with car in the city centre Please note: The City of Florence has a special control system (ZTL) for accessing the historic centre.The boundaries of the ZTL (restricted traffic zone) are marked by special road signs and have a series of access points which are controlled by cameras that automatically detect the number plates of all the vehicles passing through. Among the numerous access points there are some (those reserved exclusively for public transport and emergency vehicles) that are prohibited at all times, 247.To reach our hotel guests in cars need to travel within the ZTL. To do so they can obtain a temporary access permit to pass through the authorised access points.In order transit in the ZTL without getting a fine, guests must give the number plate of their car to the hotel reception, who will immediately forward this information to the appropriate offices.Please note that this procedure does not authorise unlimited parking or other types of stops inside the ZTL. This permit will be issued for a maximum of two hours for baggage transport purposes and, therefore, only on the arrival and departure dates.During their stay, guests must park their car outside the ZTL or leave it in a commercial car park with a discount agreement for guests or other similar solutions.
